Institutional Research
Mission
The primary purpose of the Office of Institutional Research is to facilitate the collection, analysis, and interpretation of institutional data and to provide the accurate and timely information to support the University planning and decision making.
Major Functions
To carry out routine and ad hoc, internal and external, longitudinal and comparative studies of the University's operations and the environment in which it functions.
- To serve as the University's point of contact for reports and surveys requested from governmental and commercial agencies (e.g., U.S. Department of Education IPEDS reports).
- To provide services and supports to departments for developing, implementing, and evaluating assessment programs, plans, and outcomes.
- To support institutional and program accreditation activities.
